FAQs

  • You can request a ticket date/time change as long as your request is made 1 hour prior to your booked session. You can email your request to support@downtownice.reamaze.com.

  • We are normally open rain or shine. If the rink were to close due to heavy rain, we will provide a credit that skaters may use for another date or time. As admission is a final sale, there are no refunds.

  • All ticketing is online and can be purchased in advance at www.sjdowntownice.com. If you already at the rink and wish to buy tickets, you can use the QR code to go directly to ticketing.

  • You should have recevied a separate email from noreply@purchaseprotection.com. The confirmation email includes directions and guidance on how to submit a claim.

  • Dogs and pets are not permitted at the rink, in the admission line, on the skate change deck or on the ice. This is for the safety of your dog and/or pet, as well as the safety of the skaters and guests.

  • Nope! Our smallest size skate is an 8 Toddler and goes up to a Mens 15. Tickets are final sale, so please consider this before making your purchase.

  • Wristbands are not transferable. Since each skater signs a waiver, sharing is not allowed. Admission is per person and final sale.

  • Skating sessions are 90 minutes and are every 2 hours. Session times are on the odd hour. See the ticket calendar for specific session times.

  • We normally allow skaters in 15 min prior to the session start time to get skates on and get ready to skate.

  • We allow water but ask that guests do not eat or drink other beverages while at the rink. We will ask you to finish your food and drink before entering or that you leave and come back.

  • We do not have restrooms on-site and ask that you use the restroom prior to skating. There are two bathrooms located along First Street in the plaza.

  • Since skate rental is included for free, everyone pays general admission.

  • We do have a limited number of skate walkers on-site that can be purchased separately from admission. Walkers are first come, first serve.

  • We have a limited number of hockey skates and are first come, first serve. Skate type and size cannot be guaranteed.

  • Skates are mostly in mens WHOLE sizes and we recommend you size down if you are a half size. Skates should fit snug/tight. We also recommend that you tie skates all the way up and tightly.
